We are looking for an experience caregiver that has tons of patience and experience with working with clients with dementia. Looking for someone that can work with a middle-aged client with early stages of dementia who lives in the Montrose area. Someone who can work between the hours of 7am-7pm.This client will need assistance with daily ADLS, meal prep, hygiene assistance, med reminders and etc. Overall, a lot of patience and the ability to help the client fulfill her daily needs. • Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to cook Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication management, and toileting.
• Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and over-all well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents health and report any changes in condition to the agency Administrator.
• Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Assist in daily ambulation as needed.
