Calm under pressure and great at multitasking? As a Ski Patrol Dispatcher, you'll be the communication hub for the mountain -coordinating emergency responses, tracking patrol movements, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes so guests can enjoy the freedom to ski.
What You'll Do: - Monitor radio traffic and serve as the primary point of contact between Ski Patrol, Dispatch, Lift Operations, and emergency responders.
- Receive and log incident reports, including injuries, lift issues, trail closures, and guest assistance.
- Dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of calls, incidents, and actions taken.
- Assist with administrative support, incident report filling, and coordination with outside agencies when needed.
What We're Looking For: - Must be at least 18+ years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- EMT, OEC, or WFR is required.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication and multitasking skills.
- Remains calm and focused in emergency or high-stress situations.
- Has experience with two-way radio systems and/or dispatching (preferred).
- Is comfortable using computers (including Google workspace), logging systems, and basic reporting tools.
- Works well independently and as part of a safety-focused team.
- Is available for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
