Successful at multi-tasking and problem-solving Ability to follow through with tasks to their completion Very organized and detail-oriented Familiar with excel, word and industry specific software, i.e. QB’s Clear communicator; comfortable partnering with Ops / Sales on root-cause fixes. We are now seeking a full-time Finance Manager to join our company as a leader in the transportation segment based in Houston, TX. The individual will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance and accounting, leading close, billing accuracy, AR / credit, AP / carrier pay, cash forecasting, budgeting and controls.
Your Mission & Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and directing accounting functions
- Provide monthly reporting, including file closings and budgeting
- Establishment and oversight of financial procedures
- Processing of A / P’s, A / R’s, Income Statement and Balance Sheet
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
- Processing of payroll, bonuses and tax fillings
- Provide monthly reporting, including file closings and budgeting
- Work closely with the CPA firm
