WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Track and evaluate our factory machine performance and calculate Cpk (Process Capability Index)
- Monitor and analyze quality performance
- Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
- Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
- Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues
- Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
- Review standards, specifications, and processes
- Create and perform validations for tools and equipment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus in quality, aerospace, or mechanical engineering or similar technical field
- Experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings
- GD&T knowledge, understanding dimension and tolerancing
- Metrology knowledge and understanding
- Root Cause analysis experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- U.S. Person Status is required as this position may need to access controlled data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as an auditor for AS9100 or other ISO-9001 based QMS standard.
- Production factory experience
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
