Job Summary :

Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate individual to join our team as a CDS / Meaningful Day staff member at our Anne Arundel location. The primary focus of this role involves creating and facilitating engaging daily activities for individuals with diverse abilities.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a similar capacity is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Genuine interest in supporting the personal development and well-being of individuals with diverse abilities
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and implement care plans effectively
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
  • Able to pass a background check

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and execute daily activities that promote social interaction, personal growth, and skill development for program participants
  • Assist individuals in accessing and integrating into community resources and activities
  • Provide direct support during activities while encouraging active participation
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of participation and progress
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the overall satisfaction and well-being of program participants
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to uphold the health and security of individuals in your care
  • Attend relevant training sessions and workshops to stay informed about industry best practices

    • This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm at our Anne Arundel location. The compensation for this role is $21 per hour.
