Accounts Payable & Receivable Administrator

Serra Automotive, an owner of 55 dealerships nationwide, is seeking to add an accounts payable receivable administrator to its Office Team.

Founded in 1973, Serra Automotive ranks among the top ten privately-held retail automotive groups in the nation. Based in Fenton, Michigan, Serra is comprised of 64 dealerships in 8 states and represents 27 automotive franchises.

Previous experience working in the retail automotive industry is advantageous but not required. The job requires an innate ability to work independently. Successful candidates will be self-starters with a strong work ethic and a desire to work in a collaborative environment that values cooperation and teamwork among all associates.

Among the tasks this person may be asked to contribute to include:

*Entering all payable invoices in accounting.

*Reconciling all invoices with statements.

*Sending out accurate and timely payments.

*Accurately accounting for checks received daily.

*Maintaining all receivables to 30 days or less.

*Scanning all documents received.

*Entering new inventory as it is received.

*Preparing all paperwork for new inventory traded.

*Daily reconciliation of cash accounts.

*Other accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications:

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office

*Familiarity with CDK

*Background check required

*Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but not required

*Automotive Dealership experience is a plus, but not required
