We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time, Activity Assistant position to join our Longview department. The Activity Assistant will be responsible to assist with activities. This entails assisting with planning, developing and organizing recreational programs in accordance with existing federal, state and local standards, to assure that the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, recreational and social needs of the residents are being met on an ongoing, individual basis. Demonstrates an understanding of and embraces Assisted Living principles and the mission statement of the Christian Health.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: Every Other Weekend 8:00am - 4:00pm

Week 1 Monday 8am - 4pm

Week 2 Friday 8am - 4pm

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in recreational programming; knowledge of social, psychological, and recreational needs of the aged and cognitively impaired preferred.
