Overview:

Provides management and technical support to projects supporting the NEXWDC Program Manager. Oversees contract performance for advanced expeditionary warfighting courses, staff planning, and curriculum development. Manages the Curriculum Research, Maintenance, and Development Instructor Cadre and Course Supervisor-Instructional System Design.

Place of Performance:

Navy Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (NEXWDC), Virginia Beach, VA

Description:

Support research, analysis, and drafting of Navy warfare publications. Ensure editorial quality of all publications for EXWDC including NWPs, NTTPs, NTRPs, TACMEMOS, TACBULs, CONOPS, and KILLBOOKS.

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in Navy Expeditionary Force and maritime operations, including real-world deployments.
• Knowledge of military organization, training, and operations.
• Experience in Expeditionary Warfare areas such as Naval Construction, Logistics, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, etc.
• At least three years reviewing and writing joint or service-level doctrine.
• Exceptional writing skills and mastery of English grammar.
• Familiarity with Navy Warfare Library, Fleet CONOPS Writers Guide, and GPO Style Guide.
• Ability to format documents to doctrinal standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Graphics experience preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, management, or relevant field.

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
