Client Service Representative – Receptionist (Full-Time)

If you're a master of multitasking with a passion for pets and people alike — we want YOU at our front desk!At Stamford Veterinary Center, we know that our Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are more than just receptionists — they’re the face of our hospital, the calm in the chaos, and the friendly connection that makes a visit feel like coming home. As a full-time CSR, you'll play a critical role in the daily operations of our practice and help ensure that every pet and pet parent receives outstanding care from the moment they walk through the door.

What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome clients (two- and four-legged) with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and keep our schedule running like clockwork
  • Handle invoices, estimates, payments, and end-of-day reports like a pro
  • Provide empathetic support during stressful situations — you’re a rock for our clients
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby
  • Educate clients on wellness plans, products, and services we offer
  • Keep records accurate and updated — including lab results, referral info, and intake paperwork
  • Coordinate patient check-ins to ensure all information is up to date and ready to go

What You Bring to the Pack:

  • Previous experience in a veterinary or medical front desk role is a plus
  • Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), and standard office equipment
  • Strong communication skills — clear, kind, and professional
  • An understanding of veterinary terminology and the ability to communicate it effectively
  • Ability to triage phone and lobby inquiries (Is it an emergency or a nail trim?)
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • A friendly, team-oriented attitude and a sense of humor
  • Willingness to be seated for most of the day, while still staying mentally on your toes
