Functional Neurosurgery Faculty Position - LUMC

The Department of Neurological Surgery at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine in Chicagos western suburbs is seeking a board-certified / board -eligible neurosurgeon to join the full-time faculty in our growing Neuroscience Program. This physician should have special interest and fellowship training in functional / stereotactic neurosurgery and general neurosurgery, respectively. This position would be a joint hire with a partner hospital with an expected practice of 50% at Loyola and 50% at our partner hospital. Diverse research opportunities are abundant and expected at the translational, basic science, and / or clinical level. Weinberg Cancer Center , acute rehabilitation, a transitional care center, childcare center and fitness center. Founded in 1919, MacNeal Hospital is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services and a 68-bed behavioral health program.
