Position Summary
The Finance Intern supports the Finance Department with administrative, financial, and data-related tasks that contribute to the organization's fiscal health and operational efficiency. This position provides practical experience in nonprofit finance, budgeting, and financial compliance while supporting a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry, filing, and organization of financial records
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, as appropriate
- Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring
- Support financial report preparation and internal documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized financial files
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance-related tasks
- Collaborate with finance staff on special projects, as assigned
- Perform other finance-related duties, as needed
