As a Board Certified Gastroenterology Physician, I provide comprehensive care to patients requiring gastrointestinal treatments through consultations, inpatient procedures, and medical management. My responsibilities include handling moderate sedation, performing routine and urgent procedures, and managing a high volume of daily patient consults. I work within a dynamic healthcare environment, making significant decisions regarding patient care based on EMR data and collaborating with medical teams during on-call assignments.

Qualifications :

• Board Certified - Gastroenterology
• Licensed SC Medical, SC Controlled Substance and DEA in hand at time of application
• MUST be comfortable with Moderate Sedation and be willing to apply for privileges
Assignment Details :
• 24-hr Call
• Consults, Rounding and Inpatient Procedures -15-20 new consults daily on a handful of inpatient procedures each day during the week volumes do tend to lighten up over the weekends.
• Endo lab is also closed on the weekends, so anything urgent that can not wait until Monday will have to be done in the OR. A
• Anything routine in nature will need to be posted for the next business day in the Endo lab. -EMR=EPIC
