About The Role :

Do you love creating delicious pastries that delight customers and bring joy to every bite?  The Sicilian Butcher  is looking for an enthusiastic  Pastry  cook  to join our vibrant team! In this role, you’ll prepare top-notch baked goods and desserts while working in a supportive and exciting environment. A Day in the Life :

  • Prepare and bake exquisite pastries and desserts that exceed customer expectations.
  • Follow recipes closely to create consistent, delicious results.
  • Multitask efficiently and maintain a quick pace in a bustling kitchen environment.
  • Set up your workstation with the ingredients, tools, and equipment needed for success.
  • Carefully prepare ingredients like batter, dough, and toppings.
  • Use baking tools and equipment to create and assemble baked goods.
  • Ensure stunning presentation for all pastries and desserts.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
  • Properly store ingredients and finished goods to maintain freshness.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to the team.

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • Education :  High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience :  Proven experience as a baker or cook.
  • Skills :  Strong teamwork, excellent communication, and proficiency with baking tools and equipment.
  • Attributes :  A positive attitude, the ability to follow sanitation procedures and multitasking skills.
