Global sector leading client carrying out a significant site upgrade and expansion now looking for a QS with manufacturing site expertise to carry out the following responsibilities.

Involved within their industrial plant improvement projects, role applies expertise in cost management and financial control to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.The role is crucial for maximizing the return on investment (ROI) and minimizing financial risks associated with upgrades and efficiency enhancements.

Key responsibilities of a quantity surveyor in this plant improvement include :

• Feasibility Studies and Cost Planning : Conducting initial assessments to determine the financial viability of proposed plant upgrades (e.g., new machinery, process optimization, energy efficiency measures). This involves preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and timeframes.
• Budget Management and Cost Control : Developing comprehensive budgets and monitoring ongoing expenditure against these plans. Implement cost control measures to prevent overruns, track costs in real-time, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
