Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellow / Clinical Instructor to begin on July 1, 4 through June , 5. Qualified candidates should have successfully completed a plastic surgery residency and be board eligible with the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic and clinical credentials with excellent communication skills. The selected candidate will play a key role in the busy microsurgical program at Rush. Participation in clinical research and resident teaching will be actively encouraged.
The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University is comprised of academic faculty who practice in a team-based atmosphere. The candidate will benefit from the multitude of resources available including: state of the art microsurgery equipment, advanced practice providers, research fellows, and support staff. The fellow will participate in reconstructive microsurgery of the breast, head and neck, and extremities, as well as advanced nerve surgery, lymphatic super-microsurgery, and gender affirming surgery.
