Medical Center seeking Primary Care Physician to join team

• Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. The physician will coordinate care with specialists as needed.
• Outpatient clinical role ' no inpatient
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs : 8am-5pm / Fri : 8am-12pm)
• Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
• Call Schedule : Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1 : 7 to 1 : 8 rotation
• EMR : Cerner
• Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant
• Average Patient Volume : 18-22 patients per day
• Patient Census : Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
• Demographics : A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.
• Visit Types : Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
• Typical Procedures : In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and women's health screenings.
• Sign-on Bonus : $35k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition.
• Competitive Compensation : Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses (250-270k + / -).
