Senior Application Developer

The pay range for this position is $123,200-$169,400 annually. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.

JOB PURPOSE :

This Senior Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications and systems that support business operations. The position collaborates closely with developers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. The individual will lead technical design decisions, ensure compliance with best practices, and drive continuous improvement across all layers of the technology stack.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Enact end-to-end design and development of new and existing systems, including databases, web applications, client apps, services, and system interfaces.

Make critical technical and design decisions to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

Design and implement database schemas, views, stored procedures, and triggers using SQL.

Optimize UI, back-end, and SQL code and manage schema changes to maintain data integrity and performance.

Develop and integrate web-based applications and backend systems, ensuring seamless connectivity with internal and external platforms.

Re-engineer legacy systems and implement new features and interfaces to meet evolving business needs.

Partner with technical team members and functional architects to design and deliver customized end-user applications.

Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and maintain documentation for all solutions; coach / mentor more junior developers.

Audit, monitor, and enhance system performance through proactive tuning and optimization.

Ensure compliance with security standards in collaboration with IT Security team.

Provide Quality Assurance team with appropriate information / handoff on all new development to aid success in manual and automated testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years’ experience as a developer.

Degree in computer science or related field required.

Prior experience with Git is required.

Prior experience with Azure DevOps boards and pipelines preferred.

Design with n‐tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with service‐ oriented architectures (SOA).

Solid understanding of object‐oriented programming (OOP).

Knowledge of the .NET 4.x Framework and .NET 8 or higher, including Visual Studio 2022 and / or 2026, C#, and ASP.NET.

5+ years’ experience ASP.Net and MVC Framework

3+ years’ experience TypeScript and / or JavaScript

3+ years’ experience ASP.NET / C# / MVC.

3+ years’ experience SQL Server (2016 or later preferred).

2+ years’ experience Angular preferred

2+ years’ experience Telerik's Kendo UI preferred
