Schedule / Availability Requirements : All shifts below end the following morning at 7 : 00 a.m.

Coverage Details : 24-hour call (7a7a)

30-minute onsite response time

Setting : Inpatient, Call

Trauma Level III

FTE : 4.0

Required Procedures / Job Duties :

Endoscopy

GI Bleed management

Evaluation of GI concerns

EMR : EPIC

Support Staff : RN

Call team for endoscopy

Reason for Coverage :

Limited coverage

EMR Required Training :

Modules (learn lessons) : Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training.

Virtual EMR (PPL) Training : Modules must be completed beforehand; virtual training must be finished at least 1 week prior to first day.

First Day Details : Released only after EMR modules + training are completed.

Patient population : Adult, Adolescent

Number of beds : 60

PPD : 12

24-hour hospitalist admissions team

Interventional Radiology : Available 84, MondayFriday

Permanent GI physicians : 1

Requirements :

Board Certified in Gastroenterology Required

Active CO license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission) Required

Active DEA Highly preferred; required for credentialing

Must be able to offer and work 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts (7a7a) Required

Local / drive-in candidates Highly Preferred

Gastroenterology Fellowship Required

Clean malpractice and background Required
