Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

Position Overview

Vicky Chen State Farm Agency is seeking a licensed and motivated Insurance Sales Representative to support our general market sales efforts. This role focuses on handling inbound leads, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate insurance solutions, while also providing a high level of customer service.

This position is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys consultative selling, relationship building, and working with warm internet and referral leads in a structured agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound internet and online leads; follow up with prospective customers in a timely manner

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options

Present, quote, and close insurance policies in a professional and ethical manner

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up

Assist with basic service needs related to issued policies when necessary

Accurately document sales and customer interactions using agency systems

Required Qualifications

Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (required)

13 years of insurance sales or agency experience preferred

Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills

Comfortable working toward sales goals in a supportive, team-based environment

Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously

Work Schedule & Location

MondayThursday: Onsite at our Chino Hills, CA office

Friday: Remote workday

This is primarily an in-office position; fully remote candidates will not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly base pay: $20$25/hour (based on license and experience)

Performance-based sales bonuses

This is not a commission-only role
