[job_card.job_description]Provide a positive staff culture from day 1 and offering open, honest communication in a positive and nurturing environment Train a team who provides the same quality work as you and doing quality work yourself by representing Goldfish Swim School’s core values Do the right things, making the right decisions and treating people with integrity, compassion and trust Understand and lead the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to Goldfish Swim School’s standard operating procedures Provide training to staff and stay on track with quarterly and annual enrollment goals and any subsequent goals intended to measure success Create and implement a plan of action when quarterly and annual goals are off track Gain high level competency in class bookings, scheduling, reporting and administrative functions as well as the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, swim lesson quality standards and safety standards Everyone in our building is lifeguard CPR & AED certified, so you must be able to pass a basic swim test (50 yards) to earn your certification. All management team members will also obtain their Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification You will direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures for the school We require schedule availability that includes some weekday evenings (until 8 : 30pm) and at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shift per workweek and be able to work the same scheduled days every week (Ex. Every Monday from 8 : 30-4 : 30) Full medical and benefits package, PTO and 401k options are offered with this position This position earns a base salary of $65,000 - $70,000 annually with a bonus structure that is based around monthly, quarterly and annual enrollment, sales and service and pool operations goals making a global difference by partnering with the USA Swimming Foundation, the Make A Wish Foundation and the National Drowning Prevention Alliance to support children across the country in learning how to swim and to be part of something bigger than ourselves giving back to our local communities by going out and educating those outside our school on the importance of water safety and the science of swimplay and by supporting our local family programs, including Highmark’s Caring Place making a change within our own four walls. We know that the real change starts with what we do every day and we’re passionate about doing our part to contribute to the prevention of accidental drowning, the #1 cause of injury-related death among children ages 1-4 building a team that cares about the culture we’ve built at Goldfish Swim School just as much as we do. Our swimmers are not only diving into great lessons, our team is also diving into great opportunities! At Goldfish Swim School, we care about teaching children to be safer in and around the water, while making their experience Golden.
A General Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of our swim lessons by training, managing and motivating a successful team, coordinating and reviewing class schedules and ensuring you have a school that’s set up for success at every lesson. You’ll guide new team members and families through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress in our program and in life.
