Project Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Mobile, Alabama .

Overview

The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting project planning, design, and execution for a variety of civil engineering projects. This position involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of site development civil engineering projects including industrial, residential, multi-family, commercial and multi-use projects.
• Provide CAD, design, and engineering calculation support to project managers during all phases of the project, including site planning, grading and utility design, erosion control design, hydrology reports and construction phase review services.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project approvals and permits are obtained.
• Support project documentation and submittals.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
