Cloud Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard sensitive data and infrastructure within the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure, applications, and data

Conduct regular security assessments and automate cloud security controls to mitigate risks

Monitor and respond to security incidents while providing guidance on cloud security practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent job experience

5+ years of industry experience, with 3-5 years in cloud security engineering

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and security tools

Proficiency in scripting and automation, and familiarity with container security technologies
