At Chick-fil-A, the Back of House Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner / Operator, Back of House Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.

    • Back of House Team Member Responsibilities :

  • Prepare food quickly and accurately, helping the team reach an average Speed of Service under 4 minutes.
  • Follow recipes and procedures to ensure every order is made correctly and meets Chick-fil-A quality standards.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized at all times to meet food safety and cleanliness goals.
  • Complete all training within your first 30 days, including food safety, cleanliness, and BOH procedures.
  • Support strong team performance by communicating clearly and working together during peak hours.
  • Take care of equipment and tools, reporting anything broken or unsafe right away.
  • Be open to feedback and grow from it, participating in performance check-ins twice a year with your leader.
