Supply Chain & Business Operations Manager

Astro Mechanica is a vertically integrated aerospace company building a faster, more connected future. We're seeking a Supply Chain & Business Operations Manager who will own the operational backbone of our procurement processes and vendor relationships. You are a high-energy generalist who will ensure that our supply chain is efficient, transparent and scalable while supporting broader business operations. You can form a technical understanding of our prototyping, testing and propulsion teams in order to support their development objectives. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and think critically and systematically about implementing scalable practices while staying on top of many moving parts.

As an early team member, you'll lead our supply chain, procurement, and vendor operations, with the opportunity to define your role and grow into broader responsibilities across the organization. Specifically, you will :

• Build and manage relationships with critical suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to ensure reliability and quality.
• Develop and own procurement processesfrom sourcing and negotiations to contracting and vendor performance management.
• Oversee logistics, inventory tracking, and fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials for engineering teams.
• Anticipate risks in the supply chain and design contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and leadership to align procurement and operations with company goals.
• Establish scalable systems and workflows to support rapid growth and evolving business needs.
