As a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from shelters to prevent euthanasia, we are committed to providing exceptional veterinary care to our furry friends. We are a low cost, high volume clinic. We also operate a vaccine clinic during clinic hours. Daily Responsibilities: Performing small animal care services Utilizing digital radiography for accurate diagnostics Providing preventive care to ensure the health and well-being of pets Administering vaccines and anesthesia Vaccine clinic Required Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a variety of issues such as ear, eye, skin infections. Work in a fast paced environment Maintain SOAP notes on all clients on a daily basis Utilize technicians during exams to make the most of your time. Example: Let the technician handle ear swaps, do the x-rays. Then you as the veterinarian can make determinations of the results. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with digital x-rays and vaccine administration Strong client services and wellness background Experience with IDEXX Neo Practice Management System Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $125,000.00 Maximum Salary: $150,000.00 Health, life, dental, and vision insurance Holiday pay, paid time off, and disability coverage Paid Florida license, DEA Company Information: Pet Pal Veterinary Clinic is under the umbrella of Pet Pal Rescue, a non-profit located in St Petersburg, Florida. The clinic is dedicated to providing high quality, low cost care for general pet services, such as wellness checks, skin, ear and eye infections. We do not handle emergencies and refer emergencies to other providers. We will try to stabilize acute pets if possible before sending them out. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8-5, and Saturday 8-noon. We also run a vaccine clinic concurrently with our rooms. We provide spay/neuter services, dentals and other general surgeries. Pet Pal Rescue not only has the clinic, but a no-kill shelter and thrift store. The clinic and thrift store are operated to provide funds for the shelter operations.
