Civil Engineering Intern

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who is eager to kickstart their journey in the civil engineering field. Throughout this internship you will acquire insights into essential procedures of civil engineering processes including technical site design, utilization of engineering designing software, writing technical reports, and participate in construction segments of our engineering projects.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Quick learner, motivated, and driven with a great attitude, positive mindset and desire to learn.
• Exceptional proficiency in both written and oral professional communication is imperative, and collaborating effectively with individuals, including colleagues.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in project activities encompassing site design, stormwater management, grading and drainage, erosion and sediment control, water treatment, and utility design.
• Conduct research, assess, compile, and prepare materials for permit applications. Including the investigation of zoning ordinances and coordination of local jurisdictions.
• Conduct on-site visits to observe the engineering process firsthand utilizing personal and/or company vehicle.
• Producing conceptual site plans and construction documents utilizing AutoCAD.
• Engagement in engineering calculations, research, and data analysis.
• Professional communication regarding engineering services, attend production meetings, coordinate activities with other disciplines, internally and externally.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Perform such other duties as the manager may deem necessary.
