Compensation: $50,000-$70,000 Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, standards-based English Language Arts curricula for grades 9-12.
• Prepare lesson plans, evaluating and monitoring student performance and progress
• Foster a classroom environment that challenges students to think critically and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with Department Chairs and grade-level teams to refine instructional practices.
• Provide meaningful feedback on student writing and literary analysis.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Certification: Valid AZ Teaching Certification in Secondary English.
• Background Check: Current IVP card
• Immunizations: Proof of Measles or MMR vaccine
• Mindset: A passion for literature, a commitment to high academic standards, and a desire to be part of a collaborative professional learning community
• Integrity: This position does not require a practicing Catholic however all employees must model integrity and support the mission of the school. Willingness to participate in professional development related to the the Catholic Faith is required.
