A well-established property management and consulting organization is seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper to support day-to-day upkeep and repairs within a residential apartment community. About the Role

As a Maintenance Helper, you will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians to ensure apartments and common areas are safe, functional, and ready for residents. This position plays a key role in unit turns, routine maintenance, and grounds support, contributing directly to resident satisfaction and property appearance.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance technicians with repairs in apartments and common areas
• Help prepare units for move-in, including basic cleaning, painting, and wall patching
• Replace light fixtures, outlets, and basic hardware as needed
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Change air filters and assist with appliance troubleshooting
• Support grounds maintenance, including trash removal, light landscaping, and breezeway upkeep
• Respond to maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance protocols
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations when required

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance, construction, or handyman experience
• Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the workday
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver's license preferred
