Job Description

Estimator will be responsible for:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to evaluate project requirements and scope.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to develop precise cost models.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain thorough documentation of cost analysis and proposals.
• Provide support in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all company and industry standards during the estimation process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

• Strong knowledge of the Commercial construction industry, including materials and labor costs.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools used in construction projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• A degree or certification related to construction management, engineering, or a similar field is a plus.
