The Clinical Instructor will be a clinical resource person for the Surgical Technology students and will be responsible for clinical evaluations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing Surgical Technologist within the past 5 years.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or Tech in Surgery - Certified.
• Credentials must be in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
• Verification of vaccination requirements as specified by the CDC guidelines for healthcare providers.
• Current CPR certification and Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider, both certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
• Availability to work one or two days per week from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, as scheduled not to exceed 20 hours per week; clinical schedule varies based on program schedule.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred

Salary Schedule:
Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees

Hiring Range:
$35 per hour
