Overview

This is a PRN position with no regular hours and you will be asked to work to help cover vacation and illness,

The Apothecary Shoppe, an independent community pharmacy located in West Salem, Illinois, is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care to our patients. We pride ourselves on being a trusted healthcare partner in the community, offering prescription services, medication counseling, and wellness support in a friendly, patient-focused environment. We also provide Prescription Assistance services for our local patients as well as others who see Carle Richland providers.

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate dispensing, exceptional customer service, and adherence to all regulatory standards. Our pharmacy emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to improving health outcomes for every patient we serve.

Fill orders with accuracy; check technician prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Manager about the daily activities of the pharmacy; aid the Manager in maintaining the pharmacy.

Qualifications

Certifications : Licensed Pharmacist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), Education : Bachelor's Degree (Required), Work Experience :

Responsibilities

Enters all patient demographic information, correct charge descriptions, correct medication including description, strength, route, expiration date and start / stop dates.Posts debits / credits accurately.Enters metric dosage. Maintains order entry error rate

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $53.88per hour - $92.67per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
