Production Supervisor

Location : Colorado Springs

Compensation : $75,000 – $90,000 per year

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and optimize daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety while coaching and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise staff in machining, fabricating, welding, assembling, or processing operations. Organize and monitor workflow to meet production goals.
  • Communicate job expectations, monitor performance, provide coaching, and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and assign personnel to meet production plans, monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO 9001 / 2015 requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with other manufacturing departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and justify purchase requisitions to support production needs.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Production or Manufacturing Supervisor.
  • Experience operating and supervising diverse manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Skilled in employee performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP / MRP systems.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and adept at problem-solving.
  • High School Diploma required; further technical training is a plus.
