Role Description

Guardian Protection Force is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a full?time, on?site role based in Oakland, CA. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring safety and security by monitoring premises, patrolling designated areas, and managing access points. Duties also include responding to security incidents, preparing detailed reports, providing assistance to clients, and collaborating with the team to maintain a secure environment. The role demands vigilance, situational awareness, and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in security management, risk assessment, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong situational awareness, problem?solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in communication, including report writing and clear verbal abilities for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Relevant certifications in security such as a valid guard card.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and respond to situational demands throughout the shift.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus.
