The Position: Hawthorn Medical Associates is seeking a full-time experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our well-established practice at our location in Dartmouth, MA. This is an outstanding opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner with at least 3 years of experience in either
Adult Medicine or Family Medicine to join our Primary Care team who are part of a growing multi-specialty group. Candidates should be comfortable carrying their own patient panel under the mentorship of a staff physician.
- This is a salaried, full time position.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday.
- This position involves caring for adult, primary care patients.
Essential Functions: - Evaluate sick, urgent care, transitional care and primary care patients
- Perform annual physical exams as needed
- Educate patients on maintaining proper health
- Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage, and treat patients' medical needs
- Participate in an interdisciplinary team providing care and coordination of our patients, ensuring the highest level of care
Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a current PA license in good standing
- Current National Board Certification
- A minimum of 3 years of primary care experience in either a family medicine or primary care outpatient practice is preferred
