Requirements:
  • Ability to always be on time
  • A neat, groomed, and professional personal appearance
  • A polite and professional demeanor and an ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent phone and communication etiquette
  • Ability to work on your feet for up to twelve hours and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Organized and able to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and a genuine appreciation for creating excellent service experiences
  • General knowledge and ability to use computers, tablets, apps, etc. including OpenTable, Microsoft Office, POS, and any other software used to complete job tasks
  • Ability to manage crisis in a calm and effective manner
  • Fortitude to effectively give and receive feedback
  • Teamwork-oriented
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Ensures there is always someone present at the door
  • Warmly and graciously greets all guests that walk in the door and thanks all guests as they leave
  • Creates and fosters loyal relationships with returning guests
  • Performs all duties outlined in the checklists such as checking voicemails, returning phone calls, updating voicemail messages, and updating scheduling with the reservation system
  • Learns the menu and can answer guest questions regarding the menu and daily specials
  • Speaks with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, responds to complaints, or makes conversation.
  • Maintains contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests to ensure excellent dining experiences
  • Inspects restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and cleans restrooms when necessary
  • Shows respect and empathy to all team members and always portrays a positive attitude
  • Follows directives of the management team and exemplifies a spirit of cooperation and teamwork
