Job Description

We are seeking a High Risk Antepartum RN who is dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients during antepartum periods, particularly those with high-risk conditions. The role requires assistance with various procedures and management of specialized patient care to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and their infants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sterile speculum examinations, focusing on effacement, dilation, station, and presentation.
• Manage IV therapy and maintain central lines (CVC / PICC).
• Administer medications including anticoagulants, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Circulate for C-sections as needed.
• Provide care for patients with high-risk antepartum conditions such as preterm labor, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, and hypertension.
• Support the care of mothers postpartum with infants in NICU, and manage situations involving fetal demise.
