Position Summary
SnoPlanks Academy (SPA) is hiring Team Leads for our 2026-2027 Academy! Leads positions are three academic terms (Spring, Fall & Winter) with some potential Summer work closely supervised by SPA faculty. In a lead role, student employees will partner with faculty members to help lead, manage and delegate work. This offers student employees exposure to leadership opportunities and developing managerial skills specifically in the team’s workflow. In this role, student employees should have the bandwidth for additional work hours per week. Commitment is approximately 8 – 12 hours a week. These positions are located in Bend at the Cascades campus.

Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Leadership, Professionalism Position Duties The identified lead roles are :
Product team : responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing new boards, building demo fleet, interfacing with our manufacturer, Never Summer, in Colorado, researching and creating the next season’s line plan
Marketing team : responsible for overall brand identity, designing consumer relevant snowboard graphics, creating and executing marketing channel plans, content curation across media platforms, sales tool creation, creating brand awareness through events and ambassadors, refreshing and maintaining the commerce website.
Sales & Partnerships : responsible for channel, account and partner strategy. Establishes and maintains relationships with various partners. Identifies strategic events to generate sales. Coordinates various events and demos with consumers. Helps fulfill customer orders.
Project Management : partners closely with faculty members to help coordinate teams, monitors progress through projects, sets up meetings, and maintains meeting cadence. Creates and adjusts product, go to market and various work back calendars. Will also have a role in the financial aspect of the company and ad hoc situations as they rise. This person must be comfortable thriving in ambiguity, is organized and can efficiently multi-task. Minimum Qualifications Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found here :
Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
High School student : Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student : 6 credit hours per term
Undergraduate international student : 12 credit hours per term
Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School : 5 credit hours per term
Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School : 9 credit hours per term
