PRN DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGIST

Moffitt Cancer Center's Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology invites applications for a PRN Radiologist position in the Diagnostic Imaging Division. We are a hybrid academic practice affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Applicants must have an M.D. Degree, a Florida medical license or be eligible for one, completed fellowship in Radiology sub-specialty area, and be board certified or eligible in Radiology.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is Florida's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are expanding our faculty to meet substantial institutional growth. The Cancer Center comprises a large, 3 facility ambulatory care practice, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant pro-gram, 15 state of the art operating suites, a 30 bed intensive care unit, a high volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.

The rapidly expanding Diagnostic Imaging Division operates 7 CT, 8 MRI, and 4 PET/CT scanners. Faculty members from the section participate in 15 disease-focused multidisciplinary clinical conferences each week. All investigator-initiated clinical trials at Moffitt include a radiologist as co-investigator. The Imaging Research program receives about $7 million per year in NIH funding and includes 1400 sq. ft. of wet lab space, a full animal imaging suite, and sophisticated image analytic and mathematical modeling capabilities. Dedicated academic time is provided and PhD-level scientists are employed by the department to assist the clinical faculty in their research efforts.
