[job_card.job_description]Proactively monitors students, guests and visitors for safety. Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards ensuring they follow pool rules and regulations. Provides general information on pool operations to students, guests and visitors. Informs and adheres to pool rules and regulations. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times. Maintains a high level of customer service to all patrons. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Reacts calmly, efficiently and effectively in emergency situations. Knowledge of lifesaving methods and procedures, including first aid, emergency medical procedures and standard resuscitation measures. Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes. Other duties as assigned. American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid American Red Cross CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer 1+ year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Strong guest service skills and interactions Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures Skilled in swimming Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization A superior work ethic Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience playing, coaching or managing Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs. Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
