Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology

Location : Grass Valley, CA

Start Dates : October 2025

Setting : Family Birthing Center (Hospital-Based)

Shifts : Multi-day 24-hour call blocks

Step into a rewarding locum role where mountain views meet meaningful work ! 🌲🏥 We're seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN to provide short-term coverage at a well-equipped birthing center with strong team support.

  • October 14 (8a) – October 16 (8a)
  • October 31 (8a) – November 3 (8a)
  • November 5 (8a) – November 8 (8a)
  • November 26 (8a) – December 1 (8a)
  • December 3 (8a) – December 6 (8a)
  • December 22 (8a) – December 28 (8a)

🏥 Hospital & Duties :

  • Location : Grass Valley, CA 🌄
  • Setting : Dedicated Family Birthing Center with in-unit OR for C-sections
  • Volume : 25–40 deliveries / month
  • Procedures : Full-scope OB / GYN including deliveries, C-sections, and ED OB coverage
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Call Type : 24-hour in-house and on-call shifts

    • Support Team :

  • 3 local OB / GYNs
  • 1 Family Medicine OB
  • Pediatrician on-call
  • Anesthesiology and Surgery support
  • Skilled Respiratory Therapists

    • 🧳 Travel & Lodging :

  • Full travel coverage provided ✈️
  • Preferred lodging : Comfortable and close to the hospital

    • ✅ Requirements :

  • Board Certified or BE within 5 years in OB / GYN – Required
  • Active California Medical License – Required
  • DEA – Required for credentialing
  • Malpractice history : Clean preferred
  • Availability : Must be provided at name clear
