About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care NP in Colorado!

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urgent Care for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in Family Practice, Emergency Room, or Urgent Care settings. This fast-paced role involves providing urgent care services to patients aged 3 months and older, with a daily patient volume of 30-45. The assignment begins on 01 / 01 / 2026, with a varied schedule including weekday, weekend, and evening shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality urgent care services in a busy clinic environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Provide urgent care services to patients aged 3 months and older
  • Manage a high-volume patient load of 30-45 patients daily
  • Perform necessary urgent care procedures
  • Utilize Practice Velocity electronic health record system
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

Additional Information :

  • Must be licensed to practice in Colorado
  • 3-6 years of experience in Family Practice, Emergency Room, or Urgent Care required
  • Comfort with pediatric patients (3 months and older) is essential
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
