Spa Sales Associate (Massage Heights Irvine)

We are looking for a very experienced salesperson for a part-time role with a proven history of selling membership contracts to our guests. We have about 700 - 800 people that come through our location with about 200 of them brand new to our location. We need to sell them a reason to come back. We are looking for those individuals that enjoy working with people and can relate to our kind of guests/members.

Must be comfortable in selling and convincing the guests why they should come back and buy a membership. Must be comfortable in working with quotas. Our shifts are somewhat predictable and will not vary. So, you have a confirmed schedule that you can expect to work every week.

We offer a fixed predictable schedule. We don't typically change your schedule unless someone calls out, vacations, or medical downtime. Right now, we believe it will be about 22 - 24 hours/week. Tuesday (3pm - 9pm), Thursday (3pm - 9pm), Friday (4pm - 8pm) and then Saturday (9am - 5pm). There are always those days when people take a sick day or vacation day, so you can help fill in those hours. But, assume that is going to be your schedule. If so, please apply.

Massage Heights Sales Associate Compensation will scale based on performance. Starting salary will range from $17.00 - $20.00/hour depending on your past experience and sales capability. With commissions and bonuses it can be as high as $23 - $25/hour. Our current commission plan allows you to earn up to $500/month in commissions.

You will earn more based on your membership sales. We also have a bonus program available for various holidays and events during the year. We will require at least 24 hours/week for full consideration of bonus team payments, all our commissions are paid at full rates.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this position you are responsible for producing consistent monthly sales by enrolling prospective members in our massage wellness programs. This role entails delivering top-notch customer satisfaction in a professional, therapeutic massage/facial environment. Must be able to think on your feet and help guests understand the benefits of massage/facial therapeutic services.

• Manage the customer experience from beginning to end
• Must like to sell and enjoy selling to the public
• Provide excellent service to members/guests
• Maintain high standards for customer service
• Answer phone calls, make appointments, greet members/guests
• Sell retail products and memberships
• Ability to exceed challenging performance goals by converting prospects to members
• Assist in administrative tasks including filing, member maintenance, reminder calls to clients
• Perform data entry for a variety of tasks specifically client records and surveys
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Help to do laundry during busy times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to pass a background check
• COVID-19 vaccinations are a plus, but not required

• History of consistent and extended work experience, with supporting references
• Transportation and a valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of Zenoti is a plus or selling in a retail environment
• HS diploma required. College experience preferred.
