CNC Setup Programmer

Company Vision : To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEMs in the U.S.A.

Primary Job Duties :

• Coordinating purchase of required tooling and work holding.
• Designing special tooling as required.
• Troubleshooting and coordination with engineers and operators for processing problems.
• Coordinating with maintenance manager for machine problems.
• Use CAD / CAM / Manual programming to create CNC programming.
• Assist in introducing new parts.
• Assist in quoting new business.
• Transfers and / or downloads programs to CNC machine control.
• Follow layout to properly arrange and set cutting tools to be used.
• Install work holding devices, part ejectors and other necessary accessories as specified.
• Instructs operators or other workers in machine setup and operation.
• May set up machines for other workers.
• Complete daily maintenance and 5S standards.
• Communicate work status.
• Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.
• Maintain acceptable attendance.
• Any specifically assigned tasks.
