Your Impactful Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting customized care strategies
  • Identifying and managing acute, chronic, and episodic health issues, collaborating with physicians or acting independently as your credentials allow
  • Informing patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness tips, and disease management
  • Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments adhering to your scope of practice
  • Engaging in follow-up with patients to facilitate effective chronic care oversight
  • Working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintaining detailed and precise records within electronic medical platforms
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner degree program
Certifications You Will Need
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
  • Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or another specialty certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials (or ability to secure within 90 days)
