Position Summary

PPG Quality is seeking a Bilingual Lead (Spanish/English) to support operations on location. This is a working lead role that combines hands-on material handling with leadership and translation support.

The Bilingual Lead will physically perform the job alongside team members while serving as a communication bridge between employees and leadership. This role is essential to maintaining productivity, safety, and team coordination.

This position is physically demanding and requires consistent movement and manual labor throughout the shift.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:50 AM 6:45 PM
• Night Shift: 6:50 PM 6:45 AM
• Schedule: MondayFriday, weekends as needed
• Rotating schedules, not shifts may be used to support work-life balance

Key Responsibilities

• Perform material handling duties throughout the shift
• Push carts from kitting areas to production lines and designated cells
• Deliver materials to multiple workstations as required
• Work directly on the floor alongside team members
• Serve as a translator between Spanish-speaking employees and leadership
• Communicate instructions, policies, and safety requirements clearly
• Support attendance, productivity, and workflow coordination
• Assist supervisors with daily operational needs
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to perform continuous physical work for extended periods
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environments preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to push carts continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
