Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Long-Term Temporary Assignment

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in staffing, is representing a Special Education Private School in their search for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This school supports students with a wide range of special needs, serving learners from kindergarten through age 21 in a collaborative, supportive educational environment. This is a long-term temporary assignment starting ASAP, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Schedule

Any 3 or 4 days per week, Monday through Friday

Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Location

New Rochelle, NY

Conveniently located approximately 5–10 minutes from Metro-North

On-site parking lot and street parking available

Pay : $45–$55 / hour for OTs; $32–$38 / hour for COTAs, depending on experience

Responsibilities for the OT / COTA include :

• Providing occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Supporting students’ fine motor, sensory integration, and functional skill development
• Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and related service providers
• Documenting services, progress notes, and reports as required
• Assisting with assessments and contributing to treatment planning
• Supporting a positive, structured learning environment
