System Administrator II

Geodesicx, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator II to join our team in the Charleston, SC area.

Responsibilities:

• Deployment and maintenance of Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops on an enterprise network
• Create software installation packages for Microsoft SCCM targeting Windows 10/11 laptops
• License Server management for CAD tools
• Manage software and security patches for workstations and laptops utilizing Microsoft SCCM
• Perform user and group administration on Microsoft Active Directory
• Provide help desk support to project users for workstations and laptops
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) for users working locally and over VPN connections

Requirements:

• CSWF Designation: IAT Level 1 Required
• Four (4) years System Administration Experience
• Must have substantial experience in systems administration, with particular expertise in IBM and Windchill products.
• Possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• The role also involves maintaining documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures, requiring effective communication skills for user support and team collaboration. This position is vital for ensuring the stability and efficiency of our system infrastructures, in alignment with organizational objectives and user requirements.

• Must be eligible to hold and maintain a SECRET clearance
