Immediate opening for a Tax Accountant in San Diego, CA who possesses : -1-3+ years of experience in an Accounting Firm-Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and background in Lacerte-In pursuit of EA / CPA Email resumes to yorozco@ : The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Preparation and review of business tax returns including forms 1120, 1120-S and 1065 (990 experience a plus).-Preparation and review of individual / trust tax returns.-Assist tax manager as needed.-Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may impact clients or the organization.-Assist clients with financial sales strategies and investment planning.-Work directly with clients to gather information and prepare draft tax returns. The selected candidate will also possess : -CPA or EA certification required; CPA certification preferred.-Proven experience in tax accounting with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.-Proficient in financial software applications and tools related to bookkeeping and accounting. In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks is a must.-Experience with working in Lacerte is a plus.-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.-Excellent communication skills to convey financial concepts clearly to clients.-Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is a plus.-Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Salary Range : $70-95k / year
