Process Analyst
Works under direction of Quality Management in cooperation with other plant personnel. Conducts ongoing review of process, process controls, and opportunity for process improvement related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity with focus area on Quality. Interprets quality standards and measures as required to evaluate conformity to standard, trains machine operators concerning measurement methods. Has authority and responsibility to approve acceptance quality and to quarantine defective or suspect quality product. Gathers data, stores data, evaluates data, and presents data to be utilized with process capability measures as well as process improvement. Such data includes but is not limited to scrap data, measurement data, First Time Yield, and other measures of process performance data. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills :
Associates degree preferred but High School Diploma or GED required. Dimensional measurement and documentation of dimensional measurement is required. Operationally effective with Microsoft office tools preferred but Microsoft Excel skills are a requirement.
