Pediatric Associate Program Director Opening in Michigan Located in Saginaw, MI - Midland 20m; Detroit 100mSeeking a Pediatric Associate Program Director, BC / BE Pediatrics to join our Faculty team. Full-time This role includes resident and medical student education, as well as faculty clinic. We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed individual who is inspired to build a strong Pediatric Residency program. 50% Clinical / 50% Academic with protected time. Administrative duties as well as scholarly activities will be required including Research and Publishing MD or DO State of Michigan licensed or eligible Board-certified in Pediatrics Three years of teaching experience (required) Leadership experience (preferred) Controlled Substance license Must meet credentialing criteriaThe Program Director will spend much of his / her clinical time precepting residents in their combined ambulatory Pediatric Clinic / Hospital based on campus. The Program Director will also engage members of our community-based Pediatric Primary Care / Pediatric Specialist physicians to participate as didactic presenters and preceptors. Finally, the Program Director will be provided a faculty appointment and will lead the effort to attract medical student candidates.
